I have now been in the land down under for just under three months. I came expecting to feel the worst and experience the best. Thankfully, i did experience some homesickness but it wasn't that bad. I presume it was because i found myself enjoying the life and the people here so much that it just flew out of my brains. I have to thank a lot of people for it was they who helped erase all thoughts of homesickness. Some four days after my arrival, my friend Annie arrived and with her i went to meet this guy i've been chatting with online for a few months. At his place, i got to know another guy, they have both been here for three years. From there, my friendship with this bunch of wonderful people who all live and congregate in the Summit began.

Two weeks of enjoyment thus began. Everyday, i walked around this beautiful city, exploring it's streets in search of familiarity or hoping that, one day it will all become a familiar place that i would learn to love. Annie and me spent the most part of those two weeks shopping during the day. By night, we joined the guys, in their quest of complete freedom via the alcohol highway. For it is a custom, or shall i put it as a pastime for that might be more accurate for aussies to drink beer. As much as they can and as often as they can too, apparently.

This incessant drinking parties continued all through my second week in the great city of Sydney, every single night. Right up till the day before the semester officially begins. Most believe it is high time to stop getting so pissed they can't see straight and have a throbbing head till the afternoon of the next day. The day passed and classes began.
