Limericks, with a Pun!

“You don’t have to be as thin as a pole;
Losing just a few pounds should be your goal.
You will feel much better,
Look great in a sweater;
So think about practising girth control!”

That's what I think and for everyone who's trying to be a 'pole'...

Wiping his big hands on his gown,
The blood bank chief said with a frown,
“The news is bad;
It’s very sad.
We have been caught with our pints down.”
