I arrived in Brissie yesterday at round noon and had to sit in the wind at the skytrain station waiting for the train for nearly half an hour... grrr... I noticed that I was probably the rare Asian on that platform yesterday... but well...
Got to the city and started my trek through the city to reach where Joo Li works cause she unfortunately had to work yesterday (and today) for a few hours... So I dropped my stuff off there and then went off in search of something to do... in the end I decided that I'd buy a few books and go sit at a coffee shop and read. So from Borders I walked across the street and found Starbucks! heheheDezzie said there's another place with better coffee and so did Joo Li's friend (they both named two different places) so I may try them if I have the time to...
After she finished work we chatted a bit then went to her house for a shower before we went back out for dinner and coffee... Brissie's Story bridge is nothing compared to the Harbour Bridge of course, but this place does have a tranquility that is unique... (honestly I think the lights at the other end of the river lighting up a row of trees look more hauntingly beautiful than that of the bridge)
to be cont.
