Today, Sunday, Father's Day weekend, Sydney's Darling Harbour saw the staging of this year's Malaysia Fest! The sun did not bless us as it did the past two years, but even with the overcast skies, the crowd was reasonable and a fun day was had by all. I'm guessing some of the people out there could be like me, witnessing their first ever hailstorm by the end of the day! (I have lived through some but have always been indoors when it happened)
Everyone worked hard for today and I guess it didn't turn out bad at all. I spent half the day at the games area, teaching and learning gasing. Playing batu seremban, and skipping rope (the rubber band made type). Gasing really can be addictive! haha! Lots of kids and adults alike were clambering to try them!
Now that it has all ended, its time to get back to work and prepare for our upcoming elections and dance. More hard work! =p
There's the MASCA games too... I guess I'll just be a cheerleader and go cheer people on! Since I'm no good at any sport in particular... *grins* Looking forward to visiting Melbourne again after two years.
Oh yeah... I've got to prepare for two interviews too... man, these two weeks are going to be really HECTIC!
