A week in Melbourne.. gone just like the wind! Part 1

On the 26th of September, we NSWers departed happily for Melbourne. Although complaints can and was made about the condition of the coach that was offered to us... (it was shabby and old looking, a lil like a bas kilang that we see around town back home). On the journey, multiple stops were made and some were just absolutely puzzling, for example, why stop again when you have just made a stop like barely one hour ago? It made a ten hour journey prolonged into a nearly 14 hours journey. The seats were uncomfortable to sleep in, and for those who are tall, triple to uncomfortable factor. According to Kia How the king of sleeping, who could sleep in any coach, and any airplane seat, it was the worst seat he has ever been given cause he can't fall asleep easily at all.

The next day, after much discomfort and some stretching here and there during the stops, we finally arrived at Arrows on Swanston, where we will lodge for the next few days during the conference and sports carnival. We can't check in till 1pm so it was decided that those who wanted to stay can stay, otherwise we're free to wander around the city, getting lost (if its even possible to get lost in the first place!) or otherwise.

So Kia How, Kylie and me set off in search of friends and cousins for Yum Cha. In the end, Sophia and June appeared for Kylie (June's also Chris' sister, the famed one that I met for the first time, cause Chris is really quite good looking so the sister is suppose to be quite a pretty one but erhh, apparently she got a lil plump), and Chen Hui (aka Vincent) who's Kia How's cousin appeared too. We are all tired and a lil stoned because of the lack of sleep but well... we managed to stay awake and got back to Arrows to register for a room rather late.

Oh ya, on the bus, Mr. Wee Keat (03/04 MSA Sports Director) demonstrated his card shuffling technique in which if he's the one who shuffles, you'd never win at blackjack against him because he always gets at least one Ace. It could appear with a picture card or another ace or with numbers that are so tiny that he'll get 'five dragons'... grrr... and if you play Big 2, he'll somehow give himself at least 3 or 4 of the Aces in the deck... What a cheat! ;)

Anyways, time to sleep, will post more updates later!
