It's finally time to set off to the airport! =p After enduring absolutely no sleep for the entire night before my flight due to my many work commitments (It was KSP Night and am on the organising team plus have absolutely got to finish work before going off), I'm kind of glad to hop on the plane just so I could get some much needed sleep.
Arrived in London at about 3 in the afternoon and I had hoped to get to the hotel by 5 at least, but the immigration/customs queue was so impossibly long. (I later found out it was very much possibly due to the fact that there was fog in the 4 days prior to my arrival that caused many flights to be cancelled/delayed hence the large number of arrivals that day).
The weather on our arrival was absolutely perfect! It neither rained nor shined for a few days. When we finally managed to get out of the airport and onto the tube (cheapest way to get into the city but make sure you are able to lug your luggage around if change of lines is required). However, the stop nearest to the hotel was *shock horrors* closed for refurbishment and such, so we got a lil lost after getting out at neighbouring Oxford Circus. In the end, to make things simple, we hopped into a london cabbie, and experienced just how expensive they can be - nearly 8 pounds for that short ride!
I had made reservations for Stomp! that night which was partly why we were in such a big hurry, but it was such a relief, we MADE IT! The theatre that it was in is a wee bit small, but the set up was nearly the same as it was on the big stage of Istana Budaya. The audience however, was much more responsive than the KL crowd =p we had so much fun with their clapping and finger snapping and feet stomping!
After the show, exhausted, we took the tube back to the hotel and called it a day.
