Its Friday Night, what am I up to?

Now normally on a Friday night, you'd expect a young little thing such as me to be out partying somewhere right? But sadly (or not, depending on how you view it), I haven't been out partying quite so often anymore.

That said, I do have a list of nightspots down here in KL that I do like to frequent and never get sick of! They are:
Velvet - for its plush seats and generally posh surroundings. I'm not a fan of each night's music but I do have my fave, being Mambo Nights and most Saturdays.
Poppy Collection - for the open air hotness and Top40ish R&B music, plus when it gets too hot out there I can escape to Passion upstairs for a breather. The new and improved Poppy is something to check out too.
7ate9 - simply cause its chill and loungey, feels a little decadent due to its furnishings and is a great place to hang out, have some drinks and chat. Nice view of the twin towers to be had too, on thing is it closes at 2am (too early!)
Sky Bar - The music is a hit and miss for me, but i like the chill yet somewhat plush surroundings. (come on, you're on top of one of the most expensive hotels in town) The bar does a decent list of cocktails and best of all, with luck (or connection) you get one of the best seats in town to view the city awash with lights.

These are the places I still go to time and again and are my choice of night life-spots (if I had a choice that is). I am after all, not against nightlife. I just think they should be done in moderation. You can very well sleep late the next day, just preferably without a hangover to go with it. ;-)
