Today, I had one of my best experience with shopping in KL. After my Japanese class and the usual "lunch" that we have after class at 4pm, I went for a spot of shopping to find myself a new pair of gym shoes cause the old one is falling apart (or at least parts of the sole is falling apart from the rest of the shoe).
So I started by walking from the main entrance where I left the rest of my friends, and I spotted Fafi for MAC by chance (I was looking for them in HK but they were only available at the MAC counters in Sogo) or so the ad in the MAC ad-book they had at Lane Crawford says. So I figured I'd go and see if there's anything I can buy.
Luckily quite a few of the items are sold out so I have less stuff to obsess over and even more luckily, they had a blush on sale which is exactly what I've been looking for since I'm nearly out of blushers. Anyways, back to the topic, the salesperson, a bubbly girl called Kimberley Lee (same surname! she kindly noted...) was so nice and helpful with my questions and was always smiling, from doing my makeup to checkout, so this quite very well made my day.
But it didn't end there, I then went up to Adidas two floors above and had another encounter with a nice salesperson, Malay girl whose name I can't remember. She was helpful, nice and showed me where I can find the type of shoes I'm looking for, recommended shoes suitable for what I do. Best of all, she was smiling and patient all through it even though I couldn't be sure of my size and wasn't impressed with their available selection of socks. Came checkout, the cashier was another nice chap who carefully explain Adidas' customisable shoe range to me. (I think the basketball ones are worth getting for my brother)
All in all, if every single shop has salespersons like these, I wouldn't be able to stop shopping! haha! Cause I do tend to go back to stores where I had a good prior experience. =p
