You've Got Mail

I have just finished watching the movie again and am still charmed by it the second time around. Being a computer girl myself and totally addicted to seeing words typed out and reading typed words and lines, the movie really appealed to me.

It has also made me fall madly in love with a Mac or an IBM again... somehow, jet black computers... no matter how cliche and 90s and just seems so old school right? Its just still so it to me. So with this, I have decided, my next laptop is definitely going to be a black one.

With this, I present you with one of my favourite lines from the movie. Quoted from Joe Fox's mail to Kathleen... "The whole purpose of places like Starbucks is for people with no decision making ability whatsoever to make six decisions just to buy one cup of coffee. Short, tall, light, dark, decaf, low-fat, non-fat, etc. So people who don't know what the hell they're doing or who on earth they are can, for only $2.95, get not just a cup of coffee but an absolutely defining sense of self: Tall. Decaf. Cappucino."

Thing is, there still are times when people stand in Starbucks wondering what the heck should I order and when all else fails? A safe Latte or Frappucino will do thank you.
