Its good to be Karl Lagerfeld

I have just read an article today that quoted Monsieur Lagerfeld as saying -- "We have no budget, we do what we want and throwing money out the window brings money back in through the front door," he said. "The bottom line is that I don't deal with the bottom line. The luxury in my life is I never have to think about it."

My point is centered towards that last two lines... How many of us wish to not have to deal with it? Must be millions and maybe billions... How lucky for him!

Because the fact remains that, for the rest of the world, and that's including you and me, whether you own your own business, work for a corporation large or small, all our actions are geared towards either increasing revenue or decreasing costs or both. These actions are of course for the benefit of the bottom line.

Makes you wonder when will life ever be fair and equitable when there are probably thousands more of people just like him out there and then there's you and me... one of the millions...
